Important Information for LSL Symposium Registrants!
Dear Colleague,
Congratulations on registering for the AG Bell 2009 Listening & Spoken Language Symposium. This year’s Symposium, entitled “The Impact of Executive Function on Education and Developmental Outcomes,” will be held July 23 to 25 in St. Louis, Mo. We look forward to welcoming you to this first-of-its-kind Symposium!
The following is information that may help you as you plan your travel to and from St. Louis, and for while you are attending the Symposium itself.

Transportation: - By Car: Hotel parking is $14 per day.
- By Train: MetroLink is the St. Louis metropolitan region’s light rail system and is accessible from the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Follow the signs marked "ground transportation" and "MetroLink." The stop for the Union Station Marriott is “Union Station.”
- By Cab: One-way fare from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is $45-$50.
- By Shuttle: GoBest Express Airport Shuttle, (877) 785-4682. One-way fare is $21; round-trip is $37. Follow signs leading to "ground transportation." Shuttles depart every 15-30 minutes from the airport.
Registration:
Photo identification will be required to register. To avoid any delays, please register immediately upon arrival on Thursday if possible. Registration badges are required at all Symposium events, no exceptions. Registration desk hours and locations are:
Thursday, July 23
Hours: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Location: from 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., rooms New York Central and Frisco/Burlington.
Location: from 12:00-6:00 p.m., Ballroom Foyer A
Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25
Hours: 7:00-6:00 p.m.

Pre-Symposium Short Courses:Thursday, July 23 Continental breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m.
Short Courses are from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Lunch is from approximately 12:00-1:00 p.m. and will be on your own.

Lunch will be provided on Friday, July 24, and will be on your own Saturday, July 25. There are a number of restaurants located in a food course located within the Union Station Marriott.
LSLS Certification Exam Review
Voluntary exam review sessions are offered free of charge.
When: Thursday from 7:30-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
Location: Wabash Cannonball Room
Please limit attendance to only those taking the LSLS certification exam this year.

Weather Forecast: Sunny, mid-80s, chance of rain on Thursday.
Dress code: Business casual, including the welcome reception. Bring a sweater or jacket in the event of temperature fluctuations in the meeting rooms.

Please note that not all of the session handouts were submitted in time to provide them electronically. Feel free to print and bring these with you.
